Frequently Asked Questions
Will I still receive a bill from BT
A: No, You will only receive one bill from us once you have moved away from BT or your current supplier. The bill we send you will include all your Call Charges and line rental as well as any other service charges you may have with us for Broadband or your Telephone System etc.
Will there be any changes to the way I use the phone
A: No Everything will remain exactly as it was before if you are moving your Calls & lines service over to Triton Telecom. If you do choose to have a Business Telephone system with us then an Engineer will be booked to install this for you and we will offer complete on-site training for your staff on the functions of the Telephone System.
Will I need any equipment/ Will an engineer visit
A: No, We offer a seamless progression meaning you will have no disruption or loss of service when moving over to Triton Telecom’s. All the work is completed at the Telephone Exchange and you will not notice any change apart from lower call costs.
What should I do with previous suppliers’ equipment now that I have joined Triton Telecom
A: All existing telephone equipment can continue to be used as normal as we will just be taking over your line rental and call costs unless you have arranged to have a new Business Telephone System installed with ourselves. What level of service can I expect
A: We use the BT Backbone as do many of the suppliers of cheaper calls and lines in the UK. As a result you can expect the very best levels of service with crystal clear line clarity on ISDN2e Digital lines and many other services we provide. If you do experience any difficulty then you can call us FREE on 080 849 8030 one of our account managers will assist you and get your fault fixed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Will I still be able to dial directory enquiries / emergency services etc.
A: Yes, you can continue to use services such as 118 or emergency numbers 999 for example. This will work in exactly the same way as it did before you joined Triton Telecom.
Will I still have my number(s) listed in the telephone directory
A: Yes, unless you specify that you do not wish to have your number listed in the directory, you can also choose to register with the TPS ( Telephone Preference Service ) to ensure you do not receive nuisance sales calls.
I require a new telephone line installed. Can Triton Telecom provide this
A: Triton Telecom can arrange the installation of Analogue or ISDN2e Digital Telephone Lines anywhere in Britain. Our Telephone Lines are installed by BT Openreach Engineers and we offer some of the best value line rental in the UK. Please call one of our account managers on 0800 849 8030 for more information.
Will I be able to add new lines / faxes / PC’s or change my number in the future

How do I deter unsolicited phone calls, faxes and emails
